This role includes classroom leadership, lesson planning, mentoring support staff, maintaining strong parent communication, and fostering a positive classroom culture learning and play-based education. Our Lead Teachers are nurturing, organized, dependable, and passionate about early childhood education.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging weekly lesson plans and classroom activities Create a warm, safe, and stimulating learning environment Lead classroom routines, transitions, and daily schedules Maintain positive communication with families through Playground App and daily interactions Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth Mentor and guide assistant teachers and support staff Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and supplies Participate in trainings, meetings, school events, and professional development Support school-wide initiatives, policies, and quality standards Collaborate closely with leadership and fellow educators

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older Experience in childcare, preschool or early childhood education preferred Degree or coursework in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain a positive, organized, and professional classroom environment Passion for working with children and making a difference Reliable transportation required What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who: Brings positive energy into the classroom Loves working with children Can lead with patience, confidence, and kindness Works well in a fast-paced team environment Believes learning should be joyful and engaging Wants to grow professionally and personally Schedule & Pay Full-Time Monday–Friday Business Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour (Pay based on experience, education, and qualifications) Ready to Join Our Team?
