Job description
- Overview A warm and flexible family in Amagansett is seeking an experienced, nurturing Live-In Nanny to care for their two young children, ages 22 months and 4 months.
- The family is looking for a calm, communicative, and professional caregiver who can provide loving, developmentally focused care while becoming a trusted part of their household.
- The family currently resides in the Hamptons but may relocate back to New York City in the future.
- Should that occur, the position would transition to a live-out role in UES.
- They are seeking someone who is adaptable, enjoys working collaboratively with parents, and is interested in growing with the family long-term.
- Schedule Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00am–6:00pm Flexibility for occasional Saturday hours when needed **Live-in accommodations available seven days per week, even though the primary work schedule is Monday–Friday**
Responsibilities
Providing attentive care for a toddler and infant Supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities and play Managing children's daily routines, including meals, naps, and outings Preparing children's meals and maintaining child-related organization Children's laundry and nursery upkeep Creating a calm, structured, and nurturing environment Traveling with the family as needed Maintaining open and consistent communication with parents regarding schedules, routines, and developmental progress
