ME338 - Full-Time Nanny - Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Overview A warm and welcoming family in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, is seeking a loving, experienced, and safety-minded full-time career nanny to care for their sweet 2.5-month-old baby girl. This is a long-term opportunity for a nurturing nanny who genuinely enjoys infant care and is excited to become an integral part of a family’s day-to-day life. The family is seeking someone warm, engaging, and highly experienced with infant milestones who can confidently guide their daughter through developmental stages while creating a loving, stimulating, and structured environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and truly passionate about caring for children.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, approximately 8/9am - 6pm (40–50 hours per week)

Responsibilities

Full care of the infant during working hours Bottle preparation/feeding (currently formula-fed) and transitioning to solids when age-appropriate Tracking and supporting developmental milestones and age-appropriate enrichment Engaging in reading, tummy time, play, walks, and stimulating activities Bathing, dressing, diapering, and maintaining routines/schedules Preparing healthy meals for the child as she grows and supporting feeding transitions Keeping nursery, baby items, bottles, and play areas clean and organized Children’s laundry and organization related to the child Creating a safe, nurturing, and loving environment while maintaining strong safety awareness Supporting the family in creating consistency around the child’s daily routine

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of professional in-home nanny experience Significant infant experience with strong references Long-term career nanny mindset Comfortable collaborating with parents and providing updates on milestones and routines

Requirements

Vaccinated: regularly updated adult vaccines, annual flu shot, current COVID vaccination, Tdap, MMR, Varicella/chickenpox, Hepatitis B Salary and Benefits $35-40/hr 10 vacations days Sick time off (5 business days) Paid federal holidays Transportation/commuting support (Metro card)
