Job description

The Goalkeeper Coach is responsible for the technical development, performance analysis, and recruitment of goalkeepers while supporting all aspects of the program’s daily operations. The position works closely with the Head Coach to implement training, tactical systems, and a high-performance environment.

The goalkeeper coach will plan and lead daily goalkeeper-specific training sessions to develop the physical, technical, tactical and mental proficiency of our keepers. The coach will analyze match and training performance, provide video breakdown and feedback sessions, evaluate decision-making, positioning, and build-up play and collaborate with coaching staff on tactical preparation. Lastly, they will Create and implement individual development plans for each goalkeeper.

The coach will identify, evaluate, and recruit high-level goalkeeper prospects and build connections with: MLS Next, ECNL, and other high-level club and high school programs. Also, they will utilize our international contacts to recruit international prospects. In addition, they will assist with official visits and recruiting operations.

The coach will maintain adherence to all NCAA, conference, and university regulations, assist with travel, scheduling, camps and other program logistics. They will contribute to a culture of academic, athletic and personal accountability as well as embrace the mission, vision and core values of our soccer program and athletic department.
