- Type: Full TimeGlenwood Inc. is a progressive multi-site agency that provides a full range of outpatient services for children and families with mental health needs and is the premier provider of Autism services for the state. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services from 8 am to 5 pm in our Birmingham office. The Behavioral Therapy Center is a supportive, close-knit, collaborative team with a focus on positive outcomes for families and maintaining a positive work environment for our staff members. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Assess and identify specific speech, language, and/or communication needs for development of the treatment plan, to establish a baseline of child’s present skills for judging future progress, and to help plan and conduct treatment sessions. Work with a multidisciplinary treatment team to consult and share information with staff and parents regarding assessment and treatment. Collaborate with other clinician on overall language and communication program. Work collaboratively with agency professionals to ensure that individuals served on assigned caseload are provided highest quality therapy services available Complies with Code of Ethics and demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all clients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment. Fulfills professional development requirements and other assignments.
