We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Occupational Therapist to provide services from 8 am to 5 pm in our Birmingham office. The Behavioral Therapy Center is a supportive, close-knit, collaborative team with a focus on positive outcomes for families and maintaining a positive work environment for our staff members.

- DUTIES:
- Work collaboratively with agency professionals to ensure that individuals served on assigned caseload are provided highest quality occupational therapy services available
- Complies with Code of Ethics and demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all clients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment.
- Administers a comprehensive assessment of individual’s occupational therapy strengths/deficits.
- Provides direct OT intervention for those individual’s determined to be appropriate for services.
- Documents’ treatment in a manner consistent with agency requirements.
- Individualizes treatment for individual needs related to autism and other mental health needs.
- Fulfills professional development requirements and other assignments.

- Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Alabama
- Current AL driver’s license and must be insurable through Glenwood’s contracting insurer.
