Description Learning and Professional Development (Job Coach)

  • We're looking for a Learning and Professional Development Specialist to join our team in Manatee County.
  • In this vital role, you'll be an integral part of our Learning and Professional Development department, working to equip our case management professionals with the skills they need to succeed.

Learning and Professional Development Specialist Responsibilities

Conduct individual and group training sessions to enhance the skills of child welfare staff. Provide continuous coaching, mentorship, and guidance to new and experienced staff through both in-office and field-based observations. Assess the competency of child welfare staff and provide constructive feedback to support their professional growth. Work with the Quality Assurance team to promote and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives across the agency. Help staff understand and adhere to all federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and agency policies.
