Your opportunity
As a Volunteer working with children ages 6 weeks to 3 years, you will
- Provide staffing support, as needed, at our Early Head Start center.
- Assist with developmentally appropriate care and education in a nurturing environment.
- Foster growth in key developmental areas, including social, emotional, nutritional, and physical development.
- Support classroom routines and learning activities that encourage exploration and growth.
- Partner with families to support children's learning and individual needs.
- Help maintain a safe, healthy, and engaging learning environment.
- Play a key role in our federally funded Early Head Start (EHS) program, supporting qualifying families with vital early learning services.
What you bring
- Required qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine love for working with children.
- Bonus points for
- Experience working in Early Head Start, Head Start, or licensed child-care programs.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Medication Administration Training (MAT).
- Bilingual skills.
- Experience supporting children of all abilities and diverse family backgrounds.
