The specialist provides transitional independent living resources and educational support for youth in foster care aged 16 and older. Key duties include hosting transition meetings, coordinating with school districts, and assisting youth with post-secondary education applications.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and be at least 21 years old. Intermediate computer skills are required, and previous experience with high-risk or foster care children is preferred.

The Education and Transition Specialist provides transitional independent living resources to Case Managers for youth that are 16 and over in the foster care contract.
