Provide direct developmental services to eligible children ages birth to 5 and their families in home and childcare settings. Ensure adherence to TEIS operations manuals and IDEA Part C rights for infants and toddlers.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in early childhood special education or a related field, with related degrees requiring one year of experience with children with disabilities. A Master's degree and experience in developmental evaluations are preferred.
Provide direct developmental services to Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS) eligible children, ages birth to 5 years, and their families in home-based and inclusive childcare settings in the counties of Sullivan and Washington.
All staff employed by ETSU Expanding Horizons Early Intervention Resource Agency (EIRA) are informed about the Rights of Infants and Toddlers under Part C of IDEA and share this information with families in a positive manner. All ETSU Expanding Horizons staff adhere to the TEIS Operations Manual and all updates on policies and procedures pertaining to home/community-based developmental therapy providers under the auspices of the Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS) and the Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDD).
