Teach preschool children with diverse developmental abilities across various educational settings. Plan and modify curricula to meet individual needs in accordance with NYS Pre-K standards and school district IEPs.
Requires a Master's degree in Early Childhood or a related field (Bachelor's considered if pursuing Master's) and NYS Teacher Certification in Special Education (Birth-Grade 2). Physical ability to supervise preschoolers and bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

The Children’s Services of ACLD provides a continuum of services to children from ages three to twenty-one in their pre-school and after-school programs. We currently have an opportunity for a Teacher to join our Bay Shore Facility. In this role, you will teach preschool children with a wide range of developmental ability in a variety of educational environments including self-contained, integrated, off-site, and individually. You will also plan and modify the educational curriculum to meet the individual needs of children using various techniques and strategies, consistent with NYS Pre-K standards and school district IEPs.
35 hours per week, Mon- Fri 7: 45-3:15
