The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering 8th grade social studies lessons aligned with Michigan Academic Standards. They must manage classroom behavior and use assessment data to differentiate instruction and support student growth.
Candidates must hold a valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate with appropriate endorsements and a Bachelor's degree, though a Master's is preferred. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required.
A valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate with the appropriate endorsement(s) for the subject area(s) being taught. Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred. Minimum 3 years teaching. Must have evidence of meeting highly qualified requirements, as defined by No Child Left Behind. Ability to teach and develop curriculum for assigned grade level(s).
