Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing the Georgia Pre-K curriculum and supporting children's holistic development. Maintain a safe classroom environment and ensure compliance with program policies and procedures.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a CDA, TCC, or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, or be enrolled in such a program. Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and lift up to 40 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must meet Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teacher requirements and possess one of the following:
Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential; OR Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education; OR Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field; OR Be actively enrolled in an approved program leading to one of the above credentials. Additional Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to pass the Bright from the Start comprehensive background check. Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
Previous experience working in a Georgia Pre-K classroom. Knowledge of GELDS (Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards). Experience with classroom documentation and child assessments.
