The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a warm, play-based learning environment that fosters children's social, emotional, and academic growth. Key duties include planning developmentally appropriate activities, documenting child progress, and maintaining strong relationships with families and colleagues.
Candidates must have a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units and current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Child Development or a related field is preferred.

We are seeking a passionate, creative, and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our exceptional early childhood program in Thousand Oaks. Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences Foster children's social-emotional growth, confidence, and independence Observe, document, and support each child's individual development Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized classroom environment Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities Collaborate with teaching teams and administration to support classroom goals and school initiatives Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events Communicate regularly with families regarding children's progress and experiences
Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field preferred Previous preschool teaching experience Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices Experience in a play-based learning environment preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
