Position Summary

The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers. The ideal candidate is nurturing, dependable, and committed to supporting children's growth and well-being.

Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and routines.

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.

Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones.

Provide nurturing care and guidance throughout the day.

Assist with classroom preparation, materials, and learning activities.

Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Follow school policies, health standards, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Background in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.

Experience working with infants and toddlers is a plus.

Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn.

Commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement.
