Preschool Teacher

The Learning Experience – Canton is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to support children in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development.

This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating engaging classroom experiences where children build independence, communication skills, and strong early academic foundations.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities Implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage early literacy and math readiness Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Guide children through learning centers, transitions, and group activities Encourage positive classroom participation and social interaction Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom updates and developmental progress Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies

Qualifications

Prior childcare experience required CDA preferred but not required Preschool classroom experience preferred Strong communication and classroom management skills Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
