We are not looking for someone who simply “covers curriculum.” We are looking for a teacher who brings learning to life, builds meaningful relationships with students, and creates a classroom where middle schoolers feel challenged, supported, and excited to learn.

Our ideal teacher is creative, organized, warm, and confident working with middle school students. You should enjoy teaching through hands-on projects, meaningful discussions, writing, collaboration, problem-solving, and real-world connections.

About Creative STEAM Academy Creative STEAM Academy is a unique TK–8 homeschool learning center in Laguna Woods that blends strong academics with creativity, project-based learning, STEAM exploration, and a close-knit community feel. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a 7th Grade Teacher who can

Create engaging, well-structured lessons for middle school students Teach with warmth, creativity, and strong classroom management Support students in reading, writing, critical thinking, discussion, and project-based learning Build confidence, independence, and accountability in students Communicate professionally and positively with families and staff Bring enthusiasm, flexibility, and a team-player mindset to our campus Create a classroom culture where students feel safe, respected, and motivated

Qualifications

Classroom teaching experience required Experience teaching middle school strongly preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to lesson plan, manage a classroom, and support diverse learners A positive attitude and genuine love for teaching

Schedule Part-time or full-time opportunities may be available depending on program needs.
