The Assistant Coach is responsible for leading a competitive track and field program that promotes skill development, sportsmanship, and academic success. Key duties include planning practices, conducting training sessions, and ensuring a safe environment for all student-athletes.
Previous coaching experience in track and field or related athletics is preferred, along with knowledge of sport-specific rules and techniques. Candidates should possess strong leadership skills and preferably hold CPR/First Aid certification.
Coaches are expected to uphold the mission, values, and standards of the school while serving as positive role models for student-athletes. Compliance with all school, league, CIF, and applicable state regulations is required.
