• Joan of Arc School, located in Aberdeen, MD, is seeking a full‑time, qualified Math and Science teacher.
• The Math and Science teacher will serve as a full‑time instructor for our 4th and 5th grade Catholic school.
• The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standards‑based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
• This is a full‑time, benefit‑eligible, 10‑month teaching position.

• Essential Functions
• Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission of the school.
• Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons for elementary-age students. Monitor and evaluate student outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
• Strive to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of every student.
• Integrate technology into the classroom.
• Communicate effectively with parents, responding to inquiries in an empathetic and timely manner.
• Collaborate with school administrators, teacher, parents, and community member in educating students.

• Position Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• Current or pending MSDE certification.
• Experience in a Catholic school preferred, but not required.

Range

$50,000 - $55,000 Annualized
