Assist children with autism and developmental disabilities in implementing individualized daily life plans and classroom activities. Ensure student safety and health while documenting progress toward social, emotional, and physical goals.
A high school diploma is required, while an associate degree or two years of post-secondary education is preferred. Experience in special education or behavioral healthcare with students facing complex behavioral issues is desired.
EDUCATION: Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred. Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
