Provide instructional and non-instructional support to students under the direction of certificated teachers to enhance educational and social-emotional progress. Responsibilities include supervising students, preparing classroom materials, and assisting with behavioral management.
A high school diploma is required, while college coursework is strongly desired. Candidates must possess computer proficiency and the ability to maintain composure in stressful educational environments.
Adhere to all RJA Policies and Procedures, and policies and practices of the assigned school. Builds trust and ongoing positive relationships with constituents, including administrators, teachers, students and parents. Maintain regular attendance; adhere to RJA practice regarding attendance and leaves of absence. Perform all outlined duties and responsibilities consistent with the scope and intent of the position with strict confidentiality. Immediately communicate any concerns directly to their supervisor and/or building administrator.

Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage workload, and effectively manage students. Required Skills/Abilities: Experience with computers and software applications. Proficiency with or the ability to learn current software and equipment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
