Virginia RN lactation roles stay specialized

In Virginia, Lactation Consultant RN roles are typically tied to hospitals and maternal-child services, so demand often follows maternity and newborn care staffing needs. These positions can be competitive because employers usually want an RN with acute maternal/child experience, current CPR, and readiness to earn IBCLC certification within 12 months; a bachelor’s degree may also help. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save research time, then confirm your experience aligns before applying.
