Deliver educational lectures and clinical training for Occupational Therapy Assistant students in compliance with ACOTE standards. Develop teaching strategies and evaluate student performance through examinations and practical assessments.
Requires an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant and a valid Tennessee license as an OT or OTA. Must have at least one year of full-time experience with documented expertise in pediatric occupational therapy.
Adjunct of Occupational Therapy Assistant Program – This opening requires Pediatric Experience.
Walters State Community College - Niswonger Campus (Greeneville, TN) (Employees are assigned to a “home” location but may occasionally or regularly be required to work at other WSCC campuses.)
Delivering educational lectures and lab/clinical training opportunities for OTA students in compliance with ACOTE accreditation standards and Walters State Community College policies and procedures.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities, but is expected to participate as part of a team in conjunction with other health programs faculty.
Office environment is temperature controlled with occasional fluctuations, well lit, and free from loud noises and unnecessary interruptions. Exposure to disease could be potentially hazardous. Exposure to bodily fluids can occasionally occur.
