Interpret spoken English into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa Provide interpretation services in professional settings such as educational, medical, clinical, or office environments Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards Research subject matter in advance when technical or specialized terminology is involved Demonstrate strong listening skills, memory retention, and clear expressive signing Collaborate with staff and clients to ensure effective communication access
