Provide culturally responsive individual and group therapies, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation for students within the College of Education. Participate in the development of center policies and provide training and supervision for the center's training programs.
Requires a master's degree in a mental health field and active licensure in the State of Florida. Preferred candidates have two years of post-master's experience and expertise in treating college-age student populations.

The Counseling Center is a critical component of Student Success at the University of South Florida, located in beautiful Tampa Bay on Florida's spectacular west coast.
The Counseling Center strives to support the mental health and well-being of the 44,000 enrolled graduate and undergraduate students at the USF Tampa campus. Through the provision of high quality clinical services and evidenced-based practice, innovative outreach, consultation, and education, the Counseling Center is recognized and valued for its contribution to the success of an exceptionally diverse student body. The Counseling Center, with a dedicated, energetic, and motivated team of 30 multidisciplinary professionals including licensed psychologists, licensed mental health counselors, licensed clinical social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists, and administrative support personnel is accredited by IACS, has an APA-accredited doctoral internship, and places embedded counselors in colleges and departments across the Tampa campus.
The Counseling Center is committed to a team approach to client care across all staff. With a thriving group therapy program, interdisciplinary training programs, and ongoing consultation opportunities, the Counseling Center is seeking staff clinicians with a commitment to excellence, a strong multicultural orientation, and who would enhance the diversity and resources of our staff.
Clinicians are expected to be knowledgeable of multicultural approaches to mental health treatment, and skilled in treating common presenting concerns of college-age students including anxiety, depression, substance misuse, eating disorders, and interpersonal trauma, with evidenced-based interventions. Clinicians are expected to have experience working independently and have ability to practice independently when offering on-site hours in specific program area.
