  • Description (Full-time, 8-Month
  • Position):
  • DUTIES: The selected candidate will serve as an instructor in the MSW program, teaching courses across the curriculum at the micro, mezzo, and macro level. The teaching load is 30 credits, 15 in both the fall and spring semesters. Courses will be taught in-person or synchronously online based on candidate availability. The candidate will participate in activities serving the department, such as attending department meetings, attending faculty assembly meetings, and contributing to program development and assessment.

  • QualificationsMINIMUM
  • QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a master’s degree in social work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in social work or related field by August 1, 2026. Candidates must have at least two years post-master’s social work degree practice experience. Candidates must be able to teach courses across the social work curriculum at both the MSW and BSW level, although principal assignment will be to the master’s program. The candidate must have proven ability to work with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds and identities in an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.
  • Desired/Preferred
  • QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching at the graduate level, and familiarity with face-to-face and blended/online platforms.
