Requires a Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology and an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of evaluation tools and special education procedures.
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide maternity leave coverage at a middle school in Illinois. This full-time assignment will begin in November 2025 and continue through mid-to-late February 2026. The role will primarily serve 7th and 8th grade students, supporting both general education and resource populations.
Deliver direct psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and intervention planning. Foster a welcoming, student-centered environment that encourages growth, inclusion, and resilience. Partner with families, teachers, and support personnel to create and carry out individualized support plans. Contribute to building a positive school culture where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that reflect each student’s unique strengths and needs. Facilitate professional development sessions to provide school staff with practical strategies for promoting student learning and well-being.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology. Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement. Strong knowledge of evaluation tools, intervention strategies, and special education procedures.
