The Job Coach provides individualized training, supervision, and advocacy for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to facilitate their employment and community inclusion. They act as a liaison between worksites and the agency while ensuring participants meet production standards and safety protocols.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in the health or human services field. Required qualifications include a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and the ability to obtain specific certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration.
The Arc Eastern Connecticut has been providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for more than 60 years. We actively champion for full community inclusion and are a licensed and contracted service provider of the Connecticut Department of Development Services. We provide residential, daytime, employment, and social supports to people with IDD and their families. Come join our team!

The Job Coach is responsible for training, supervising, and supporting individual with disabilities in the community specifically relating to the individual’s employment needs. They will adhere to the policies established by The Arc Eastern Connecticut, Inc. Board of Directors.
