Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to hire a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a middle school caseload. This is a full-time, school-based opportunity beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the current school year. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about inclusive instruction and supporting students with diverse academic and behavioral needs.
The Special Education Teacher will provide instructional support and specialized services to middle school students in both collaborative and specialized learning environments. The selected educator will work within two co-taught classrooms and one self-contained classroom, supporting students through differentiated instruction, individualized goal development, and collaborative planning.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring. Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration. Foster a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Collaborate with general education teachers in co-taught classroom settings. Deliver targeted instruction within a self-contained classroom environment. Provide specialized instruction aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field and possess an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education endorsement or be eligible to obtain licensure. Previous experience working with middle school students and familiarity with co-teaching models and self-contained classroom settings is highly preferred. Strong classroom management, collaboration, and communication skills are essential.
