Provide Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in various settings. Implement behavior reduction protocols and collect data for functional behavior assessments under professional supervision.
Requires a high school diploma and BLS certification, with a preference for an associate degree in psychology or a related field. Candidates must be able to obtain FBI fingerprints and Right Response certification.
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required Associate Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Analysis, Developmental Psychology, Special Education, or other relevant field preferred Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or developmental disabilities preferred Application for Certified Behavior Technician within one week of completing 40 hours of required supervision/training by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)/LBA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hire Right Response certified within six months of hire Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprints required can be obtained within 45 days of hire Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at a level 9 Ability to do data collection and graphing Ability to engage with parents and/or teachers to implement behavior intervention protocols under the supervision of an LBA Ability to effectively interact with a variety of patients, patients’ families and employees in a professional manner Knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Advanced conflict resolution and de-escalation skills Ability to manage stressful situations Ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information with discretion Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Our Mission Statement “Together we transform our communities through compassionate, individualized care, eliminating barriers to health and well-being.” Our mission celebrates inclusivity.
