The Reading Interventionist manages academic and behavior RTI teams, implementing reading interventions aligned with the Science of Reading. They are responsible for analyzing school-wide data, writing Tier III plans, and providing small-group SEL instruction for K-8 students.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid teaching certification in elementary or middle school education. Proven classroom teaching experience and a strong understanding of state standards and the Science of Reading are required.

Bachelor’s degree. A degree in Elementary or Middle School Education or a related field is preferred. Hold a valid teaching certification in elementary or middle school education or related area. Proven experience in classroom teaching at the elementary or middle school levels. Strong understanding of state standards and curriculum frameworks. Ability to utilize diverse and effective teaching methods.

Other Essential Responsibilities Assist in various school duties, including arrival, lunch, dismissal, and recess as needed. Attend and participate in faculty meetings and professional development sessions. Engage in continuous professional growth to improve teaching and learning. Ensure compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
Miscellaneous Participation in extracurricular activities such as clubs, sports, or after-school tutoring is encouraged. Flexibility to take on axillary roles within the school as needed to support overall student engagement and success. You will report directly to the Assistant Principal of Student Support Services.
