QualificationsRequirements Degree in education, with a focus on early childhood development Experience working with young children in a classroom setting Excellent understanding of child development principles and preschool educational methods Ability to communicate effectively with young children Patient, compassionate, and energetic attitude Strong mediation and nurturing abilities Creative mindset with ability to design engaging lessons Passion for shaping and inspiring young minds Ability to serve as a positive role model Familiarity with classroom safety and sanitation guidelines Excellent communication and instructional skills Friendly, reliable, and able to accept constructive feedback Ability to lift and carry infants, toddlers, toy tubs, and laundry bags (physical demands required) Knowledge of NAEYC Accreditation Standards and Code of Ethics Knowledge of STARS policies and procedures, including meal preparation and service Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, sit in low chairs/on the floor for extended periods, and perform indoor/outdoor cleaning tasks (physical demands required) Meet licensing requirements for immunizations (MMR and Dtap/TD booster within past 10 years) First Aid/CPR certified in Infant/Child/Adult, or ability to become certified upon hire Completion of a minimum of 16 hours of Early Childhood training annually Expectations of Immanuel Living Employees Ability to work well in a team environment Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to establish and maintain relationships with residents, customers, and coworkers Ability to learn and apply new tasks and information Commitment to delivering on responsibilities Reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic About Immanuel Living Immanuel Living is a not-for-profit Life Plan Community located in Kalispell, MT.
