Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Maternity Leave Assignment Elementary School | Grades 3–4 | February – May 20, 2026
We're seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to step into a maternity leave coverage role within an elementary school. This full-time position begins in February 2026 and continues through the last day of the school year, May 20, 2026.
The selected SLP will support a caseload of about 55 students in grades 3–4, delivering direct therapy as well as consultative services aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. Daily responsibilities will include providing evidence-based speech and language interventions, completing progress monitoring and documentation, and ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines.
Collaboration will be key to success in this role. You’ll partner with teachers, parents, and related service providers to design strategies that strengthen students’ communication skills and enhance participation in the classroom. This assignment offers a meaningful opportunity to positively influence student learning and growth within a supportive school community.
ASHA certification is essential for consideration. A Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field. Eligibility or possession of an SLP license in the state of Georgia.
