NC PreK Assistant Teacher -- Clayton, North Carolina

Your Role as a Pre-K Assistant Teacher

  • We are seeking passionate educators like YOU to assist the NC Pre-K Lead Teacher in overseeing classroom activities, adhering to standards set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education, and aligning with the objectives of the current NC Pre-K Curriculum.
  • In this supportive role, you'll contribute to creating a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children and their families, helping to forge strong, supportive relationships.
  • Your involvement will be crucial in assisting with the planning and implementation of learning experiences that promote various developmental domains, such as physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive abilities, and creative expression.
  • You'll also play a key role in observing and assessing the children's development, aiding in the customization of the curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • By joining our team as an assistant teacher, you'll be an integral part of our mission to guide young learners towards achieving their School Readiness Goals, ensuring a future filled with endless possibilities.

Pay and benefits

Pay

16-19 per hour, based on experience and education.
