The Pre-K Assistant Teacher instructs 4-year-old children under the guidance of a Lead Teacher to prepare them for Kindergarten. Responsibilities include implementing curriculum, ensuring daily care according to licensing guidelines, and communicating with families.
Candidates must have an Associate Degree, Technical Certification Credit in Early Childhood Education, or an active CDA in Preschool. Experience in a licensed childcare center and the ability to engage in physical activity with children are required.

The purpose of Georgia’s Pre-K Program is to prepare children for success in Kindergarten and later school years. The Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year-old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program under the guidance of the Lead Teacher.
