Job Summary

• The Midwifery Program in the School of Health Professions at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking an hourly/part-time Adjunct Instructor. The successful candidate will:
• Teach the following courses for the Fall Semester:
• NRMW 5116 Advanced Pathophysiology & Primary Care
• NRMW 5408 Advanced Comprehensive Health Assessment
• Conduct curriculum development and dissemination.
• Grade written assignment as well as both written and practical examinations.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in Midwifery, Public Health or Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of classroom teaching experience.
• 5+ years full-scope clinical midwifery practice.

Work Schedule: Variable Days; Variable Hours (Hourly/Part-Time)

Salary Grade/Rank

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications
