Responsible for delivering specialized nursing care and services to children with Autism and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical support in a behavioral healthcare setting.
Requires a nursing degree from an accredited school and current RN licensure in the State of Texas. One year of psychiatric facility experience is preferred, or equivalent education in related fields.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurses; BSN preferred. Current licensure in the State of Texas as an RN. Proficient computer skills. Valid driver license must be maintained. One (1) year previous experience in a psychiatric facility preferred. In lieu of this experience, the facility will consider experience or education acquired in related fields (psychology, criminology, pediatrics, etc.) Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
