The Associate is responsible for planning and implementing daily learning activities, nurturing infants and toddlers, and managing the Early Head Start classroom environment and supplies. This includes establishing supportive relationships with children and parents while implementing developmentally appropriate routines and curriculum.
Candidates must possess the FCCPC Birth – Five certification or CDA certification in Infant-Toddler, along with required DCF 45-hour training certificates, a High School diploma or GED, and current First Aid & CPR certificates. A minimum of one year of childcare service experience is required, along with passing fingerprinting, a level 2 background check, and a drug test.
