The Archdiocese of St.

The educational experience provided to our students and their families is rooted in a higher calling from God to honor and celebrate the gifts He has given us.Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic, positive, and dedicated Seasonal Coach to lead and mentor student-athletes in our athletic program.
The successful candidate will foster skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth while supporting the mission and values of our Catholic school.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who creates a positive and encouraging environment where student-athletes can grow both on and off the field or court.Job Responsibilities

Plan and lead effective practices that develop individual and team skills.
Coach student-athletes during games and competitions.
Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, and good character.
Provide a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants.
Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, school administration, and athletic department staff.
Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and team activities.
Ensure compliance with school, league, and diocesan athletic policies and procedures.
Assist with equipment management and care of athletic facilities.
Attend coaches' meetings and complete any required trainings or certifications.
Serve as a positive role model who reflects the mission and values of the school.
Job Requirements

Previous coaching or playing experience in the applicable sport is preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
The ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes of varying skill levels.
A commitment to promoting good sportsmanship and character development.
The ability to work collaboratively with coaches, faculty, parents, and school leadership.
Current CPR, First Aid, Safe Environment, and any required coaching certifications, or the willingness to obtain them before the season begins.
