Evaluate and monitor the progress of children aged birth to 5 years to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans. Document evaluations and progress using Electronic Medical Record systems while adhering to state laws for Early Intervention and special education.
Candidates must hold a current New York State Licensure or Certification in Occupational Therapy and a valid driver's license. Experience in early childhood settings and proficiency with MS Word and computer systems are required.
Evaluate, monitor and track child’s progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Test and evaluate child’s abilities to determine realistic goals. Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, and progress in a timely manner using Electronic Medical Record system. Proficient at writing detailed analysis and reports. Effectively organize and maintain confidentially of child’s records and other documentations. Follow all state laws and regulations as it pertains to Early Intervention, CPSE/CSE special education.
