Job description

Overview Provide quality educational programs that promote the holistic development of a diverse student population to become healthcare providers. The college is also committed to community service and to meeting the healthcare needs of the diverse population it serves

Responsibilities

Teaching Has current knowledge/skill base in teaching area(s) of expertise Demonstrates effective and innovative clinical teaching (e.g. clinical simulation, clinical experiences) Demonstrates mastery of teaching area Participates actively in course development and evaluation Serves as a faculty advisor Articulates a teaching philosophy Utilizes a variety of teaching strategies effectively to develop critical thinking/analytic capacity of students Scholarship Maintains teaching and/or clinical expertise by active engagement in the discipline Shares expertise with colleagues Engages in collaborative scholarship or creative activity Service Serves as a leader on a college committee Participates in professional organizations Serves as a volunteer in a professional capacity in community organization Participates in student recruitment Participates in quality improvement Presents at workshops or programs at the local level

Salary Range

The compensation range for this position is $26.34per hour - $43.99per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
