About the Job We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Volleyball Coordinators to join our team for the upcoming Fall season! In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the development of young volleyball players ranging from 7 to 16 years old.
As a Volleyball Coordinator, you will lead dynamic practice sessions alongside our supportive volunteer parent coaches, teach fundamental skills, and officiate games. Your goal is to ensure a fun, safe, and educational experience for all participants, from our youngest instructional groups up to our brand-new Advanced 15–16 Year Old League!
Weekends only (Saturdays and/or Sundays).
Venues are located across Fairfax County (serving the Reston, Vienna, Fairfax, and Annandale communities).
Maintain open, professional communication with parents, players, and staff. Provide program updates via Connecteam.
Complete mandatory pre-season training sessions (fully compensated).
Previous experience playing or coaching volleyball. Strong knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations. Excellent communication skills, with a knack for motivating children and collaborating with parents. Patience, high energy, and a passion for youth sports development. Ability to efficiently solve problems on the fly. Must be available for the Fall Season dates listed in the schedule Extremely reliable, responsible, and organized. Availability to work each weekend of the season. Must be 16 years of age or older. Must have a personal vehicle / reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a background check.
