Candidates must be at least 18 years old and are preferred to have a college degree and one year of youth development experience. Required certifications include a background check and CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days.

What You’ll Be Doing Leading and engaging groups of middle schoolers in fun, safe, and meaningful activities Implementing curriculum, keeping attendance and records up to date, and supporting site staff Setting up program spaces to be welcoming, safe, and youth-friendly Building strong relationships with students, families, school partners, and community members Ensuring participant safety while modeling YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility Pitching in for special projects, events, and family conferences as needed
