For traditional, in-person courses, the requirements are to meet in-person with the class twice when scheduled and hold 1 hour of office hours per week. Faculty will participate in designing their own course (in consultation with the chair of the department). For post-traditional, remote courses, the requirements are to deliver recorded virtual lectures, actively engage with student posts on the discussion board, respond to student questions, and provide feedback and grade assignments. Faculty hold 1 ½ virtual office hours per week. A completed course shell and syllabus are provided.

Additionally, affiliate faculty members must be available either on-campus or on-line for 1 hour per class per week for office hours. These positions will remain open until filled with a priority application deadline of July 28th, 2026. These positions are benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
