Provide individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and social development. Develop and implement school-wide programs to address academic achievement, career planning, and personal/social development. Conduct assessments to identify student needs and provide appropriate interventions. Assist students in setting academic and career goals through regular check-ins and planning sessions. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address academic and behavioral concerns. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed. Develop and implement behavior management plans in collaboration with school staff. Lead student support team meetings and contribute to Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RtI) initiatives. Offer referrals to community resources and maintain partnerships with outside agencies. Support student transitions between school levels and assist with college and career planning. Promote a safe and inclusive school environment by implementing social-emotional learning programs. Facilitate workshops and training sessions for students, staff, and parents on topics such as mental health awareness, conflict resolution, and study skills. Act as a liaison between the school, families, and community organizations. Education and Licensure: Master's Degree in School Counseling or related field from an accredited university. Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Initial or Professional Special Services License with an endorsement in School Counseling. Qualifications and Experience: One year of experience in a school setting is preferred. Strong understanding of counseling techniques and evidence-based interventions.
