Your Role as a Teacher 📚 Planning & Instruction Teach 3 of 4 classes on an alternating A/B 90-minute block schedule, serving students every other day within your assigned content area. Facilitate one 30-minute Personalized Learning Time (PLT) block focused on intervention, enrichment, credit recovery, or targeted skill development. Engage in unit internalization and curriculum planning using school-adopted materials; submit weekly lesson plan arcs with rigorous objectives, aligned assessments, and teacher exemplars.

Expectations
Maintain an 8:00 am – 4:00 pm workday, including assigned arrival and dismissal duties. Participate in Staff Huddles (Monday and Friday mornings). Serve weekly rotating duties (lunch, hallway, or transitions). Attend weekly department or grade-level meetings held before school.
Engage in ongoing professional development, including: 3 weeks of summer faculty training Biweekly after-school professional learning sessions (1st and 3rd Tuesdays) Contribute to school-wide events such as family engagement nights, academic showcases, and recognition programs.
