The Occupational Therapist plans and administers therapy to facilitate the development and rehabilitation of students with autism and intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities include implementing Individualized Education Plans and collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team to monitor student progress.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree, NBCOT certification, and licensure by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A minimum of six months of related field experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
EDUCATION: Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), licensure by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required and bachelor’s degree required. EXPERIENCE: Six months of related field experience required; one year preferred. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently.
