American Heritage School is a mission-driven, faith-centered private school aligned with the teachings and values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are seeking a Girls Volleyball Middle School Head Coach who is passionate about both volleyball excellence and helping students grow physically, spiritually, socially, and intellectually.
Practices 2-4 times per week from mid August to the middle of October. Games are on Saturdays.
Nature of the Role This position is considered a faith-forming role within American Heritage School. In addition to quality volleyball instruction, coaches are expected to actively support, model, and teach principles consistent with the Mission and values of AHS and the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Faith and Mission Responsibilities In addition to coach responsibilities, coaches at AHS are expected to: Integrate faith-based principles and moral reasoning into sport instruction where appropriate Serve as an example of Christian character and discipleship to students Support and uphold the spiritual mission of the school through daily interactions with students and colleagues Respond thoughtfully to student questions related to faith, values, and moral decision-making in a manner consistent with the school's mission
Professional Expectations Candidates should be professional in appearance and demeanor and willing and able to serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off campus. Personal conduct, public statements, and online presence, both on and off campus, are expected to reflect and support the school's religious mission and educational purpose.
