1:1 specialized therapeutic preschool classroom and engage students in individualized developmental activities. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with New York State Education standards.
Requires New York State Certification in Early Childhood Education (B-2) and a willingness to pursue Special Education certification. Candidates must demonstrate compassion, patience, and the ability to physically restrain if necessary.
Department Gateway Longview’s Education programs support Pre-K through 12th grade students who struggle with behavioral, social, and emotional challenges.
