Part-Time Daycare Substitute We are seeking a dependable and flexible Part-Time Substitute to join our daycare team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and can step in to support classrooms as needed in a positive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Support full-time staff in all classroom duties Supervise and engage with children in a safe, nurturing manner Assist with cleaning and maintaining an organized classroom environment Ensure compliance with all New York State Daycare Regulations Work collaboratively with the Lead Teacher, Director, and team members Help foster an atmosphere of goodwill, open communication, and teamwork

Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent At least one year of experience working with young children preferred Ability to be flexible and work in any classroom as needed Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Schedule: Part-time, as needed (flexible/on-call substitute role) Center hours: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Daily assignments based on the center’s needs Preference for candidates with availability in the early afternoon through closing If you enjoy working in a supportive, child-focused environment and take pride in being a team player, we’d love to hear from you!
